X1 Technologies Senior Management Team
Harold Enright, Chief Executive Officer, X1 Technologies

Enright has served on boards of private technology companies and been a mentor to early stage companies at MIT, the University of Notre Dame and the University of Hawaii since his retirement from Hewlett Packard in 2002 where he served as Vice President of Technology Business Development. Previously, he was the Vice President of Corporate Development at Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporation. His prior technology industry career includes senior management positions at IBM, Prime Computer, Wavefront Technologies, and MetPath Inc. He is a director at Current Group, Advantech Global, Idealab, Evolution Robotics Retail, Newbury Networks, AirWave Wireless and X1 Technologies. As an advisor to the University of Hawaii's College of Business Pacific Asia Management Institute, he has helped with the development of the University's Asian-focused MBA programs. As an active mentor in the MIT Venture Mentoring Service, Mr. Enright provides coaching to start-up companies in a wide variety of technical fields.
John Waller, President & Chief Operating Officer, X1 Technologies

Prior to joining X1, John Waller acted as Managing Director of the New Ventures Group for Idealab. Waller founded Green Thumb Ventures, an incubator and investment company that funds and develops seed level internet and technology enterprises. Mr. Waller also co-founded Resume.com where he served as CEO and President. At Resume.com he developed strategic partnership and negotiated the sale of the company to Adecco S.A., the largest staffing company in the world. Before starting Resume.com, Waller co-founded Interactive Imaginations, the predecessor to 24/7 Real Media. Mr. Waller began his career on Wall Street, joining Bull and Bear in New York City and received his BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Mr. Waller is a frequent guest speaker and panelist at seminars, conferences and universities, speaking on the topics of entrepreneurship, venture capital and angel investing.
Howard Silver, VP of Engineering

Howard Silver's broad background includes responsibility for business units, product management and marketing, as well as product development and support, encompassing a range of engineering and leadership roles.

Prior to joining X1 Technologies, Silver was VP of Product Development at ZANTAZ, where he directed budgeting, product roadmaps, growth planning, and oversaw product development, QA and Program Management.

At Veritas, Silver was VP/GM, Appliance Software Division, responsible for all product development, program management, OEM and embedded relationships. He previously held the position of VP, Cross Products Operations Group, where he led the engineering program management of strategic partners including Dell, Compaq, EMC, Hitachi, IBM, Oracle and Sun.

Silver has also held the positions of VP of Engineering at General Automation and executive positions at AST Research, Forward Technology, Andrew Corporation, Control Data Corporation, Pertec Computer Corporation and Boeing Computer Services.

Mr. Silver holds a BS degree in Mathematics from Kent State University and an MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
Scott Torvik, VP of Sales and Business Development

As an established and highly regarded software professional, Scott Torvik has over 20 years of enterprise software and information technology experience with specific strengths in management and enterprise software sales. Torvik serves as Vice President of Sales and Business Development with responsibilities for global sales, implementing growth strategies, joint ventures and strategic market development, including channel strategy. Mr. Torvik began his career at X1 as the Director, Key Accounts in early 2006.

Prior to X1, Torvik was Key Account Manager for FileNET Corporation (acquired by IBM) beginning in 1996 where he was responsible for the direct sales and team coordination of FileNET products and services to the Global 500. Prior to FileNET, Scott held positions with Uarco (now RR Donnelly) as Director - Document and Imaging Technology and Sales Manager for Anderson Imaging Group. Mr. Torvik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management as well as Marketing from Western Illinois University.
