John Waller
Chief Executive Officer

John Waller has a proven history of entrepreneurial leadership. Prior to joining X1, he acted as Managing Director of the New Ventures Group for Idealab. Before working with Idealab, Waller founded Green Thumb Ventures, an incubator and investment company that funds and develops seed-level Internet and technology enterprises.

Mr. Waller also co-founded Resume.com, where he served as CEO and President. At Resume.com, he developed strategic partnerships and negotiated the sale of the company to Adecco S.A., the largest staffing company in the world. Before starting Resume.com, Waller co-founded Interactive Imaginations, the predecessor to 24/7 Real Media.

Mr. Waller began his career on Wall Street, with a position at Bull and Bear in New York City.

Mr. Waller is a frequent guest speaker and panelist at seminars, conferences and universities, speaking on the topics of entrepreneurship, venture capital and angel investing.

Christopher Walton
Vice President of Products and Strategy

With over 15 years' experience in technology management and marketing, Christopher Walton works to direct product development and strategy for X1, leveraging a strong background in both search and knowledge management.

Prior to joining X1 in 2004, Mr. Walton spent more than six years with Vignette Corporation, where he held a variety of Senior Product Management roles and was responsible for the Integration, Process, and Analysis product lines. Additionally, he was responsible for the Virtual Repository, Taxonomy, and Search Services within Vignette V7, the company's flagship Content Management product suite.

Before his time with Vignette, Mr. Walton worked with Netscape Communications Corporation, where he managed a variety of groundbreaking products, including Netscape Navigator (Gold), Netscape Media Server, and Netscape Enterprise Server, the company's flagship Web application server.

Sumeet Sheokand
Vice President of Engineering

As the head of engineering at X1, Sumeet Sheokand is focused on integrating new features and applications that help solidify the product's position as a leading search software solution.

Mr. Sheokand has an extensive background in enterprise software development that has spanned 15 years and includes both Architect and Software Development positions. He came to X1 from the consumer credit division of Experian, Inc., where he was a Sr. Technology Manager. In this role, Mr. Sheokand was responsible for designing the next generation of large-scale data warehouse architecture and leading his team though both development and delivery.
