How It's Managed
The X1 Platform allows full IT customization and management of the interface as well as the server.
The X1 Deployment Manager empowers the IT administrator to completely customize and deploy the X1 Professional Client across the network. The Deployment Manager works with existing software deployment processes and is compatible with Microsoft SMS, Windows Script Host® and other popular enterprise deployment tools. Professional Clients can be deployed "silently" to minimize impact on end users.
The X1 Cluster Manager gives the system administrator the ability to remotely manage a cluster of X1 Servers, whether they are located in a data center or throughout the enterprise. Cluster Manager allows remote installation and management, performance monitoring and reporting, log viewing and security management. Once X1 has been deployed, the Cluster Manager enables you to add or change saved searches, action buttons, and custom menu items appearing on the Professional Client, then centrally push out those modifications to any users at any time.
Scalable, Extensible Content Architecture
"Dialing up" performance and capacity is as simple as drag-and-drop using the X1 Cluster Manager. Administrators can remotely configure and install each of the components in the X1 Enterprise Server and monitor the performance and activities of the entire cluster. They can quickly scale X1 to support even the largest enterprise deployments.
