DEEP INTEGRATION WITH ENTERPRISE VAULT

The X1 Connector for SEV integrates with both the X1 Enterprise Server and the X1 Professional Client. It extends the basic search functionality of SEV by providing a powerful yet easy-to-use interface for finding documents, email, and attachments, regardless of location, archived or not. The Connector enables access to content stored within SEV allowing users to perform a single search that encompasses all content sources, live and archived, including Offline Vault archives.

TRULY FEDERATED EMAIL SEARCH

Unlike other products, the X1 Connector for SEV provides true search federation and does not duplicate data. It uses native API connectivity to leverage existing SEV indexes, preserves the integrity of the company's security model, and does not facilitate retention policy violations.

Target and refine searches using metadata

The X1 Connector for SEV goes beyond simple keyword search by allowing users to target queries using known attributes and metadata. Users can refine searches using more than 20 metadata attributes, including common attributes such as To, From, Subject, and Date/Time as well as more esoteric attributes such as CC, BCC, Category, Message Importance, and Sensitivity. Additionally, users can use any metadata attribute to rank search results with multiple levels of sorting.

Preview and take action on results

X1's full fidelity, interactive preview capabilities enable users to examine search results in their native format, even without the source applications. Users can then immediately take action on a single or multiple search results through content and context specific post search actions. Furthermore, users can drag-and-drop search results onto their desktop or into other applications as well as export results to Microsoft Excel, PST files, or other data formats, regardless of source.
