The International Financial Group (IFGL) relied on Microsoft Purview for eDiscovery, but it could not handle their most critical data sources, especially NTFS and scanned documents. File-share search was effectively impossible, and OCR-based discovery across scanned PDFs did not exist.

IFGL’s IT Architecture team conducted a formal KDD (Key Design Decision) evaluation across multiple platforms.
